introductions
technoblade is a minecraft youtuber known for his wit, skill and dedication, often spending hours grinding in games for his goals. he was and is still beloved by many, his channel just inching past 10 million subscribers at the end of 2021. while nowadays he is more famous for his time in the dream smp, since the beginning, he never shied away from opportunities that were available to him and his channel grew alongside the server he played on the most, hypixel as well as minecraft competitions such as minecraft mondays and the mcc, minecraft championships. despite all this, when he had passed away in june 2022, everyone who interacted with him spoke most of his kindness. when an artist he worked with didn't sign their work, he would add their names onto the art pieces for them. when his friends were sick, he would stay up with them. as much as grief hurts, i would never trade my time spent watching his content and being a part of his community for anything.

the minecraft ultimate tournament
techno subbed in for someone else in a minecraft tournament and dominated so hard his team broke the previous record by six times. watching techno in his element of fighting multiple enemies is often exhilarating as it feels like nothing can go wrong, like you're a part of something bigger.
soap boi
the majority of techno's videos take the form of him playing on hypixel, fighting while trying to commentate at the same time. its a really calming format to binge watch tbh although this one is especially fun as he talks about how chill the people at college is, and then the next video is immediately him suffering from his school workload.
turtle time live stream
honestly the dsmp lore was a bit much for me usually, but techno also did streams gathering materials either alone or with a friend and those were always amazing. this stream is probably one of my favourite, calming but still with entertaining bits
orphanduo feud
while i love the emerald duo (phil and techno) as much as anyone could, orphanduo (skeppy and techno) always has a spot in my brain because they would bicker goodheartedly and tease each other in what felt like constant bits of chaos and laughter.

technoblade's cancer research fundraiser
techno took part in a number of charity events as a minecraft youtuber but after he was diagnosed with sarcoma, he also made his own cancer research fundraiser for the sarcoma foundation of america, raising over 350 thousand dollars so far. most of it was raised through a single minecraft stream, where people could donate to spawn in mobs around him and his friends could also join to hunt him as stretch goals.
festival of voices fundraiser
the one of us foundation was started by mr technodad, after interacting with techno's community, in order to help more youths reach their potential and make an impact on the people around us. the festival of voices is their annual fundraiser and they currently have a program called potato seeds that supports youth developed projects.
jingle jam fundraiser
jingle jam is the annual charity fundraiser held every december since 2011 by the yogscast, a youtube group based in the uk. in 2024, tommyinnit, one of techno's close friends participated in the jingle jam to raise funds for sarcoma uk. tommy has also joined sarcoma uk as one of their celebrity ambassadors since 2023.
voices for the blade fundraiser
thanks to techno's impact, many fans has and continues to host fundraisers in his name. voices for the blade is but one of many fan organised fundraisers where people can donate to charity in exchange for art or writing from one of the participating artist or writer. in 2024, voices for the blade was able to raise over 2000 dollars for charity and in 2025, they will be running from end march to end april.

sir billiam the third
sir billiam from the masquerade episode of tftsmp is the owner of a massive mansion and host of the masquerade party. he plays as a stereotyped billionaire who hates poor people and his favourite group activity is to short stocks with his fellow billionaires. he speaks with a posh accent and has a butler who isn't allowed to talk and is known only as 'butler'
sheriff sherman thompson
sheriff sherman thompson from the wild west episode of tftsmp is the sole sheriff of the town and one week from retirement. he is easily bribed and influenced, although it is unsure how much of that is due to his soon to be retirement.
porkums
porkums from the haunted mansion episode of tftsmp is but a lil guy. you'll later learn he is a middle aged man who kept failing school and thus is friends with the other characters. he is baeby and easily bullied by the rest and must be protected
emperor porkius the seventh
emperor porkius VII is from the pit episode of tftsmp and is the ruthless leader of his empire. he throws his prisoners, some simply grabbed off the streets, into a coliseum to fight and become a general for his empire. while the fights are going on, emperor porkius continues to mess with the arena to make things harder for them.
hamilton billiam
a decendent of sir billiam and proud of his ancestry, hamilton is from the maze episode of tftsmp. while he doesnt get much screentime among all the participants, he is the most focused member of the group, often finding clues and pushing everyone to move on. he is also one of few who stays alive till the end.

cyberknife was meant to be a new character techno was going to introduce to dsmp. cyberknife loves government, in comparison to c!techno in dsmp, who is an anarchist. there was no official skin made for him yet. cyberknife was going to be techno's way to include as many smaller creators in the dsmp plot as possible.

antarctic empire / emerald duo
one of the most popular techno duos, having teamed up through competitions and smps, this duo is the origin of the phrase "for you, the world". techno's controlled chaos and philza's thinly veiled power trips make them a formidable team who are each able to be the foil for the other.
sleepy bois inc
following a group tweet where each of them posted the same fish meme, the sleepy bois inc was formed by phil, techno and, unfortunately, wilbur soot. tommyinnit would later join after pestering them about it. the group would play games, hang out together off stream and feature each other in videos.
orphanduo
skeppy and techno have been youtuber friends for a while, discussing school and youtube statistics while having a friendly(?) rivalry that usually left techno victorius and skeppy frustrated and annoyed. after techno beat skeppy in hypixel's christmas minigame, grinch simulator where they each had to steal presents from orphans, orphanduo was born.
squidkid and techno
the potato war, while not initially that successful of a series, would eventually grow into some of techno's most popular videos. squid and techno both each dedicated months of their life planting potatoes to try and reach their goals of being the top potato farmer in hypixel and squid is arguably one of techno's top rivals.
the syndicate
the dsmp based group consisting of philza, techno, niki nihachu and ranboo. after their characters all suffered under the government's rule, techno formed an anarchist group/book club that the other three members would join.
bedrockduo
a partially dsmp based duo of tommyinnit and techno since they had both each gained an unobtainable piece of bedrock. outside of dsmp however, tommy has shared about watching techno's videos as a kid and being excited to help out during the potato war. outside of lore, each of their quirks and chaotic energy would often leave the other flabbergasted and confused.
peerpressureduo
another partially dsmp based duo, c!techno and c!ranboo were both open about their inability to stand up against peer pressure. outside of lore and dsmp moments, the duo also did a stream together for techno's fundraiser. ranboo originally got popular on tiktok with many people commenting the similarities he had with techno, although as they became friends, ranboo is more likely to be dragged into situations due to techno.

one of the most popular phrases used by techno, this phrase was often used after barely getting out of situations most others would have died from, or sometimes used ironically after techno lost a game in hypixel.

as a part of his selling out, techno used 'one of us' as a way to encourage viewers to become channel members by chanting it while ringing a minecraft bell. techno often joked that he had conditioned his viewers to throw money at the screen whenever he rang the bell.
blood for the blood god
a phrase stolen from warhammer apparently, this was what techno's chat would chant when he got fought with other players. in the dsmp lore, this chanting was meant to canonically trigger and increase his character's bloodlust as well.

within the farming section of hypixel's main lobby, their technoblade memorial still stands, surrounded by fields of potatoes. hypixel had also previously collected messages from fans to collate into books for technodad. the messages ended up filling up 22 books.
mcc
mcc, aka minecraft championships, the current big monthly minecraft tournament where popular creators compete in various minigames, also has a technoblade monument in their hall of fame.
afterword
i'm not sure anyone will get this far, i'm not even sure anyone is meant to. grief and love are two funky things that come hand in hand and every day, we find new ways to mould these emotions into new shapes, and perhaps this page is simply one of those shapes. i don't know if i will ever be done moulding but for now, i miss technoblade.
